You have really inspired me and push me to eat healthy. Some days are hard to eat and follow Weight Watchers schedule. I work in a Dental office,if you can believe there's always some kinds of junk food laying around and a evil vending machine in the back. Luckily I bring my healthy snack food and helps me out a lot, I stay on course! I gained about 20 pounds from the vending machine alone.

hey, congrats on moving in this healthy direction!

let me recommend to you Arnold 100 calorie sandwich bread (you can see the nutritional value at thedailyplate.com). they are 1 point for the whole thing (essentially 2 slices), and they are delicious. it helps with reducing bread consumption.

also, one of my biggest stumbling blocks was cheese. have you tried laughing cow light cheese wedges? they're also only 1 point per wedge. if you spread one of those on a sandwich or a wrap, you get your cheese fix without using a lot of points. i personally like the light swiss the best on a turkey sandwich with spinach.

I love turkey and I love spinach and have recently rediscovered Laughing Cow (my mom used to buy them all the time when I was little...). That sandwich sounds great - I tried looking for Arnold's when I was in the US last week (I'm in Toronto), but couldn't find it. Are there some major stores that carry it?

I'm going to try the Laughing Cow cheese. How is it on preservatives and whatnot? We've been trying to cut out all that crap.

I did find some good bread in the grocery store, there are actually a few good options and one of them is usually on sale. I'm not really into cheese except on sandwiches, which is why we usually only ever have American in the house, for the kids. I have heard that, in general, Swiss is better for you.

Rachel, I'm copying this right from the box.

I think you can get a "light" version too, but this works out to 1 point per triangle (2 points per serving size).
