I'm following the weight watchers point system, need to start a meeting or two, also for support outside. Your blog helps, too. I'm afraid to just tease myself with a couple of cookies for fear I will binge and NOT stop with just a small portion. It seems with chocolate, it's all or nothing with me. Maybe I'll overcome my fear of trying just "a little". KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Hello. I started reading your blog and wonder why you always seem to be UNDER points. You need to be careful to not starve yourself in the process of losing weight or it will come back on quite easy.

Kathy, I'm totally with you on the chocolate. I can't eat one cookie if the bag is in the house...but if I buy one small chocolate bar - like one of those "thins" then I am satisfied with just that and its only 100 calories. I also am trying to make healthier versions of chocolate snacks and making small amounts that we will eat in one sitting so it's not sitting in the fridge calling my name 24/7.

I'm amazed myself that I can just eat a few cookies. These are all cookies that I baked for the kids, and I've doled them out into little baggies, in two or three cookie servings. Maybe that's why.. I dunno. It also helps knowing that I have to post about it here, and I'd be embarassed to write that I ate a dozen cookies. :)

I agree with what you say Enz because they seem to take off the chocolate "edge" when I'm in the mood for that. I REALLY have to tell myself only one candy or bag and keep the rest in the store. And Rachel, that would be shocking to write about that in your blog. You have a wonderful thing going on here, keeps you rigorously honest with your food journal. I want to hear more of your exercising, too. I finally went to the gym after about 2 weeks last night. But I do try to jog, walk a little. :)

On those days when I find it hard to eat all my points, I drink a glass of 2% milk. It's quick and easy and it 3 points for 8 ounces.

Hope this helps!!
