Hi, Rachel!

It seems to me that you're struggling for a while - please don't give up - you're my inspiration
IMHO try to get back to basics, add more chewable protein and veggies and cut some of carbs out.
I love your blog. Please be strong

Thanks! I have been struggling, but like I tell my husband.. eating well for six days a week and then having an ice cream on the seventh is a lot better than I was doing! It may take me longer to lose the weight, but if I'm forgiving of myself, I stand a better chance at sticking with it.

Hi! Found your blog by looking up WW points values. I just started WW this week at work. I have heard some great success stories so hang in there! I'm sure I'll start blogging about it myself this week.

Hey Rachel! Just wanted to let you know I have something for you over at my blog!

Also I wanted to give you some encouragement - I totally blew it last Friday (as in ate 3x my daily points) and I STILL lost weight that week. Every day is a new day, and you are doing great!

PS; I heard what you said about being good on the W.W for most days but to have an ice cream at the end of the week is really good, too. I didn't have such a good weekend myself, . I went over about 15 points, but at a much better place than I was over a month ago. I just picked up where I left off. It's hard when I'm not a work and my time isn't "structured" and I get bored and picky if you know what I mean.

Rachel,
I have got to tell you...Ice cream is my biggest weakness. I could never go six days without it. I have had to resort to Fat Free ice cream. I have a small amount every day. I try to save a few points at the end of my day for my sweet treat. I usually don't end up feeling deprived. Just thought I'd suggest to try it. I sometimes have a hard time stopping at just half a cup. But I'm trying. Good luck.

Hi, You do need all of the support and love from all of us but yoy also need to be told the way you eat , you set yourself up to crash. So, it is not your fault other than you don't eat balanced meals. Why don't you try making menus, with balanced meals for a few days and see how you feel. Keep it up, we have all been there and some of us still are.

I was reading the comments to see if anyone else noticed what I did regarding your daily intake. Susan said it - and I think you are not taking full advantage of your points. If you prepared a more varied menu with more fresh fruits/veggies and grilled, lean fish, chicken and meats, your quantity of food would increase and you would feel much more fulfilled. You can eat a ton a food for 16 points instead of 2 slices of meatloaf. I reward myself with the WW Giant Chocolate icecream bars. In a panic if I MUST crash, it's better to eat several of these to stay in range instead of 1/2 gallon of icecream!! lol I've learned it's all about substitutions for me - soft corn tortillas/salsa instead of fried chips; all the different rice cakes instead of chips, etc.
