hi, Rachael! I found yous site by looking for the WW points! Someone gave them to me yrs ago, then when we moved, I lost them. DIdn't want to pay the crazy fee just to get them again, so thank you! Then I read a bit about you, and your blog. U have a great sense of humor, and I enjoy your writing; maybe in the end, you will have a book out of this; who knows? I like to journal too, about anything bugging me,have always wanted to start a website like this but I'm cluesless as to how, so this is awesome. and I also have about 50 lbs to lose. So should I eat the same amount of points as you, or do the points depend on your starting weight? I am around 205, want to get to 150, at least. I am going to be reading daily, so b prepared for another person to encourage u! Maybe we can be of help and encouragement to each other. my email is living4Him29@yahoo.com Thanks, and ps, ignore stupid comments, bc no one has a perfect day every day, and as long as we keep pushing, and trying, we're all gonna make it!! keep on, girl!! :)

Hey guys. The main points page has a table with weight ranges and corresponding points ranges. Find your weight on the table and eat within the points allowed. http://www.quiddity.cc/rachel/diet/points.htm

Out of sheer curiosty how is it that you're only at 23 points? I'm 27, 149lbs and I'm at 21 points a day.

Being female, age 28 and 255lbs, (not including the points for how active you are) you'd have 30 points a day to eat (+ the additional 35 bonus points) I'm not trying to knock you in any way, so please don't be upset with me saying any of this. I'm just worried because if you're not eating enough, you're not going to lose as much. My gf had done WW without exercising at all and she was losing 2-3lbs a week easy by eating the minimum of points she was allowed. It sounds to me as though you're eating as much as 7-10 points too little.

Unless there's more to this than meets the eye, which is often the case in life. I just hope you're getting enough to eat.

I've tried eating too much and too little and followed the results. When I stay on the number the charts give me (http://www.ehow.com/how_4529555_watchers-points-can-have-day.html) then I lost the most amount and feel my best.

Otherwise I think you're doing great and your self-control is amazing!

Hi Rachel,

I am new to your page and just wanted to say THANK YOU SO MUCH for your fabulous points list! As obvious as it is to us of the tireless effort you put in to making it, I hope it's just as obvious to you how much we appreciate it!

My Mum passed away recently, and upon going through her things, I found her WW Points Manager computing "gadget". She lost 140 pounds on the WW system, and although I don't have a lot to lose (a STUBBORN 15 pounds at 37 yrs old) I am finding it very difficult and thought I would try what worked so well for my Mum. I appreciate how much simpler you have made it for me to start because of your own hard work, and wish you continued success and the best of luck in your weight-loss journey. I look forward to following it...

You are right, Rachel. We don't know you and most definitely we are not judging you - we are struggling with you, we are worried about you and and we want you to succeed (not to mention how greatful we are for your list). You wanted US to participate in your blogging, othetwise you would not be doing this in the public eyes. Please understand, that by participating in conversation with you, we are fighting our own battles and when I, personally, see your daily points, I see busy mom or any other person who is doing great job by staying focused. As for me, I need smaller portions and bigger variety. So, IMHO, a constructive critisizm might help you and us in the long run. A constant YES-MAAM attitude from either side is bad for business. I hope that I did't aggrevate you any further. I'll be waiting for your response.

Hi, I found your blog through your points list and I just wanted to say thanks for making things a bit easier for all of us who are trying to lose those extra unwanted pounds.

Have you ever heard of the Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans? You should check them out (there's a button on my blog, just click it and it will take you right to them). They're starting a new weight loss challenge and this time there's prizes involved.

I have been thinking about starting WW for years now. Can't afford to join so I thought I would try it myself. How do I get my number of points? I'm 160lbs and would love to loose 20-25lbs. I hope I can do it. I have also started walking about 3 miles 5days a wk. My email address is mlmiller2@rcn.com any help or info. from anyone would help me a great deal.

Thank you,
Melissa

I just want tell you once again THANK YOU for this website and your blogs. I love it when you talk about what's going on with your diet and its ups and downs. Reason being I can't imagine anyone's diet or "NON-diet" being perfect. This is really actually a new 'life style' management diet. Keep up your fabulous blogs and I'm keeping posted. Thanks Rachel.

THANK YOU soooo much for this site!
I have about 25 pounds to lose, and it's going very slowly. I'm trying to do it on my own, too. I am a homeschool mom of 2 very busy girls, and I'm exhausted. Thanks for making it easy to look things up. You go girl! I'm cheering for you...and me!
