Rachel,
I found your site this morning and it is great! I've done WW
before and am doing it again now. One thing that really helped me was using the Wendie Plan. It allows you to vary your points between high, medium and low days based on the points range you are in. Google Wendie Plan, read the ideas behind it and see what you think! It worked well for me.

I just found your site this morning and am impressed at the amount of weight you have already lost. I went back and read every one of your posts and the foods you have been eating and would like to try this myself. I need to lose about 90 pounds. How do I know how many points I should be eating each day?

just a question I am doing ww but my book says that the bread is 2 points per slice. Whats your take on that? I'm in Canada so maybe its different? Or are you using a low cal wheat bread?

Annie, I'll check that out, thanks!

Karyn - if you check the Non-Dieter website (the link is at the top right of the blog), you'll find points ranges.

Tammy - Generally, I calculate the points using the nutritional info on the packaging. Also keep in mind that different WW plans calculate points differently, so if you're doing a different plan than the one I am (123 Success), our values might not match up.

Tammy - I'm in Canada too so I always use the Nutritional info on the package to figure out the points correctly. There are lot of differences between US food and Canadian foods...but if you are a Canadian meeting member, you will booklets with Canadian points - also you can buy more complete booklets.

To calculate your points based on the package information, if you don't have a slider or a points calculator, I have an excel formula that makes it easy to figure out.

If you (or anyone) would like it, feel free to email me.
