I'm just going to say "hi" and thank you for your last blogs before I leave work from for the weekend. I really appreciate what you have to say. I'm on my way to the store to buy some of those sugar-free jello puddings (chocolate) it's what I really crave for now. They don't even taste "sugar-free". I had one of those veggie delight sandwiches from Subay. I think they're only 5 points. I hope you start feeling better. The 2 week bronchitis flu is going around here, I know a few people that got it. Nothing worse than the stomach flu, though.

Hello Rachel,

I've been following your progress -way to go girl! Sorry to see you've been sick, but you're doing really well. I don't follow WW points but a (lowER) carb program. Thought I'd write in and say as of today I've lost 100 lbs. It took me 3 yrs., but so what, huh? Maybe that's the better route. I have 40 more to go too, and it's been helpful to read your journal. You are an inspiration. Anyway, I know you're going to get er' done. Good luck to you.

Hi, Rachel. Congrats on your 2 lbs. I hope you're filling better. I know how hard it is to be positive when you're sick. I've got head cold- my grand kids were sick all week. It seems that I'm turning into a child - every time they are sick, I'm sicker. So, my temptations are running high. I'm helping my DD taking care of them. I love them to pieces, but it's getting harder because of my age and weight.
Best wishes to you and happy dieting

Rachel-

THANK YOU!!! I am starting my WW journey for the ?# time and was looking for some inspiration/support. Your blog was a wonderful shot in the arm! I find your candid honesty a wonderful surprise. I can relate with so much of what you write about, I guess we are all similar in many ways. THanks for the blog...so many of us enjoy it!

I am so glad I found this site. I have been battling 25lbs forever. I loose it, I gain it back, etc.. it is a horrible cycle. All I ever think about is what I can eat next. I am starting my diet once again. I hate saying diet. How about I am starting to eat better again and NOT over eat.

Hi! Found your blog through your weight watchers points thing...thanks I love it! Great job on your weight loss so far. I am a 37 YO, I was 217 in October of 2008 and I am current at 179!
I am doing a calories counting diet, so sorta like WW, but no meetings :) Now if I could just start exercising, I'd be golden!
You can check out my weigh-loss blog at

Your food choices could be a lot better. Bagel w/cream cheese, and cheeseburgers, are you serious. Where are your fruits and veggies and lean protein?
